Snack Video is a Singapore-based app that is seen as a TikTok alternative and whose parent, Kuaishou Technology, is a popular Chinese software company backed by Chinese internet conglomerate Tencent.
The app has been leading the charts in terms of downloads for over 15 weeks in India, two industry executives said on condition of anonymity.
